About Gard

Gard was built out of frustration experienced firsthand at a small marketing agency in Kew Gardens, New York. As designers, marketers, and developers, we repeatedly saw minor typos slip through the cracks—costing time, money, and sometimes even a client's trust.

We realized that traditional spellcheckers simply don't work for graphics and ad creatives. Existing tools are simple spell checkers that don't account for complex sentence structures, or require a tedious process of manual extraction.

Our mission with Gard is to provide teams with an automated, context-aware proofing engine that sits seamlessly within their existing workflow. By catching those embarrassing mistakes before they go live, we help you protect your brand and your peace of mind.

Who Gard is built for

Gard is for the people who approve final visuals: marketers launching campaigns, designers exporting production files, copywriters checking approved messaging, agencies preparing client work, and operations teams responsible for brand quality. They all face the same problem: once text becomes part of an image, the usual document review process no longer sees it.

Why visual QA needs its own layer

A graphic can pass through writing, design, localization, resizing, and vendor handoff before anyone reviews the exact file that will be published. Each step can introduce a new typo, outdated price, broken URL, awkward line break, or brand term mismatch. Gard is designed to inspect the finished asset so teams can catch those issues at the point where they actually appear.

How we build trust

We focus on practical proofreading, clear feedback, and workflows that respect how creative teams already work. Gard is not meant to replace human approval; it gives reviewers a sharper final pass so they can make decisions with more confidence.
