IMGProof is now Gard

What began as IMGProof—an internal utility designed to streamline the digital review and correction of image-based typos for quality assurance—is evolving. Now, Gard is advancing rapidly with a comprehensive rebranding and a superior proofreading experience delivered through its new Desktop application.

Existing users can still access their accounts at app.trygard.com or through the downloadable application using their current credentials. While all account information and memberships remain fully intact, be advised that previous scans and corrections will not be visible in this updated version of the app. Please contact support@trygard.com if you have any questions or issues with your account.

"Gard" is an intentional and ironic misspelling of "Guard," which we hope is clear from our new slogan, "Gard against typos." This rebranding includes a fresh logo and a completely rebuilt application. The new Gard app is not only more reliable and user-friendly, but it also introduces the "Watch Folder" feature, which automatically proofreads images the moment they are saved into designated folders.

What is in store for the future of Gard?

Beyond continuous broad improvements to the app, we are focused on developing the "Teams" feature. This addition will transform Gard into a comprehensive proofreading ecosystem, enabling you to automate asset reviews, perform manual corrections, collaborate with your team, and provide feedback on more than just image files.
